These initial sketches and paintings will then be worked on in the workspace, with participants creating several interpretive scenes in acrylics to be shown in the village. The group has sole use of the hotel, which is set around an open courtyard and has a rooftop with panoramic vistas over the countryside. This energetic camp is an uplifting, inclusive three-day adults’ street dance camp in High Wycombe. The format throughout the camp is a party-style warm-up session, then several 90-minute workshops covering various urban dance forms, then an hour-long jam to show off those solos. Dancers are split into groups based on ability and experience, so it is suitable for those who are brand new to street dance, right up to experienced performers or teachers. This event doesn’t include lodging but there are several places to stay nearby, and it is under an hour by train into central London.

Sea Shanty Weekend in St Ives
St Ives is the excellent setting for a maritime music retreat. Guests will be taught traditional shanties from a folk singer and vocal coach, and have a go at composing original ones.
