Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
